Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, November 13, 2011 - Marvin Bollig May 1923 — Nov. 4, 2011 Marvin Bollig passed away Nov. 4, 2011 in San Dimas, Calif., at the age of 88. He was born in Danbury, Iowa. Marvin made Lake Havasu his home 28 years ago when he retired as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and VFW. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mona, who passed away in 2006. He is survived by two sons, Ron and Donnie; and two grandchildren who reside in Southern California. Services were private.
