Born Nov. 6, 1933, in Los Angeles, Calif., Marilyn A. Zimmerman, graduated Glendale High School.
Marilyn started with the phone company in 1957, and worked there till 1984, retiring as a manager in billing. Through friends, the phone company and a blind date, she met the love of her life, Russell W. Bergman. The couple joined in love and marriage May 29, 1963, and parted by her passing from a stroke Nov. 10. They migrated from Woodland Hills, Calif., to Lake Havasu in 1994, to escape the congestion and the earthquakes. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles, scrap booking, and best of all, time with friends. She was a sharp cookie that would brighten up a room upon entering. She is sorrowfully missed by all of her loved ones.
There will be a gathering in celebration of her life, as she won't be there to spill the wine.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her memory to Havasu Community Health Foundation, Alzheimers program.
