Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, November 19, 2011 - Martha Elizabeth Pierson passed away Nov. 17, in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 88. She was born March 20, 1923, in Watonga, Okla., to C. Leonard and Katherine (Bohr) Fry. Martha moved to Lake Havasu City 10 years ago from Anaheim, Calif., where she worked as a customer service representative for the Southern California Gas Co., out of Downey, Calif. She retired after 43 years of dedicated service. Martha is survived by her son, Craig P. Pierson, of Lake Havasu City; daughters-in-law, Kathy Pierson, of Lake Havasu City, and Peggy Pierson, of Anaheim, Calif.; grandchildren, Jeff Pierson and Suzanne Pierson; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Don and Jerry Pierson. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
