DOWNS, Lester J.

Lester J. Downs, 92, passed away on January 20, 2004 in Peoria, AZ. 

Lester served in the Navy for four years during WWII. He then went into management in the traffic / transportation industry and the last ten years with the Illinois Commerce Commission. Lester moved to Arizona in 1977. 

Lester is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn "Honey" Downs. He will always be remembered as a loyal and beloved friend to many. 

Services were held January 31, 2004, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th Ave. in Sun City West.
