Mildred Bernice Wagenfehr, 87, a Glendale Pioneer passed away January 28, 2004 in Peoria, AZ.
Mrs. Wagenfehr was born May 9, 1916 in Glendale, AZ and lived on the Alberta Peach Ranch 4 Miles West of downtown Glendale. She was the last of five children born to Owen Harvey and Fannie Mary Peck.
She attended Elementary and High School in Glendale. She was a past Matron of the O.E.S., Member of the Historical Society and the Women's club all of Glendale.
She met and married Alex Herman Wagenfehr in 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex and son William. She is survived by her 3 sons Robert O. Sr., Joseph J., and Michael A., 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial reception was held Sunday Feb. 1, 2004 at the home of Robert O. Wagenfehr. Memorials suggested to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave., Ste. A-100, Phoenix, AZ 85021. Menke Funeral Home (623) 979-6451.
