CAMPBELL, Betty S.

Betty S. Campbell, 72, passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2004. 

She was born in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts and moved to Phoenix with her family in 1960. Betty worked for Honeywell-Bull for many years before retiring in 1990. She was an avid hiker and member of the Bull Hiking Club. She also sang with the Paradise Valley Senior Singers, and performed in many nursing homes and senior centers. Betty was adventurous and enthusiastic about the outdoors, and loved life and her many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. 

Betty is survived by her daughters, Lynn Campbell of Phoenix, Nancy Shoemaker of New Mexico, and a son David Campbell of California. Grandchildren Christy Campbell, Cathy Leon, Christopher & Elizabeth Campbell and Tania, Charles & Sandra Shoemaker, and 3 great grandchildren. 

Memorial service was held Sunday Feb. 1st at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E.. Greenway Rd Phoenix. Contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix 85014.
