Edith A. Lowe, 90, homemaker of Phoenix, joined her husband Sherman A. Lowe on January 27th, 2004 after a long battle in the last 3 years of her life.
She accomplished the amazing job of raising 8 children with her husband of 63 years.
Edith was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on April 17th, 1913. She met the love of her life in Kingfisher Oklahoma on a swinging bridge that crossed a creek... They married in 1927.
After moving their family to Phoenix in 1936 they worked in agricultural jobs in Mesa, Peoria, and Phoenix. Finally by 1964 they were retired and living in Glendale, AZ.
Edith is survived by her daughters Geneva Laster, Betty Fleming, Shermaline Rudabeck, Beverly Hawkins, Barbara Hawins, and her twin sons Jerry and Gary Lowe. Daughter Neomia Guthrie preceded Edith to her father's side in 1998. Edith also left 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, February 1st, 2004 at Lundberg's White Rose Chapel. Interment at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
