MORRISON, Kenneth C.

Kenneth C. Morrison, 78, of Higley, AZ passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004. He was born July 5, 1925 in Grimes, Oklahoma, and moved to our Valley in 1933. Partnering with his brother, Marvin, he has farmed in Gilbert since 1941. Through the years, Kenny and Marvin have built and operated cattle feed lots, established Arizona Dairy and pursued their fathers life long dream of cattle ranching in Northern Arizona. These family endeavors will continue to be run by his children and grandchildren. He had a love of the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and horse pack trips with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Lela (Bunky); daughter, Dawnie Stewart: sons, Glen and Dale; brother, Marvin; sister Betty Seymour, 5 grandchildren and five great grandchildren which he always called his "precious little angels". Visitation was held on Monday, February 2, 2004 at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 North Centennial Way, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at First United Methodist Church, 331 South Cooper Road, Gilbert, Arizona. Published in the Arizona Republic on 1/31/2004.
