BERNARDS, Kenneth A.

Kenneth A. Bernards, 77, a longtime resident of Phoenix, died March 31, 2004. 

Mr. Bernards was formerly of South Dakota. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Mardell E., Sons: Doug (Ellie) and Kevin (Lauren) Bernards, Daughters: Janice (Glenn) Welker and Vickie (Greg) Gudknecht. Seven grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a Daughter: Karla Bernards and siblings:
Gladys, Maurice, Addie, Evelyn, Dorothy, Clarence, Darwin and Beverly. 

Mr. Bernards loved carpentry, card and sports. He had a great sense of humor and love to laugh. He was also a WWII Veteran. 

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Rd. A private cremation has taken place.
