The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, June 17, 2007 Dolores Parra Moreno died June 11, 2007, at a care facility in Peoria. She was born June 5, 1923, in Prescott, Ariz., the daughter of Manuel V. and Teresa (Urias) Parra. Delores was 84 years old. Dolores, prior to her retirement, had been a mail clerk, Aquarian Pump Supply. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church, especially with the Legion of Mary and the Cursillo Movement. She enjoyed volleyball, softball and watching her grandchildren play soccer. Dolores is survived by her son, Richard of Prescott; daughter, Susan (Armando) Duarte, of Chandler, brother, Joe (Gloria) Parra of Prescott Valley; sister, Edna Hernandez of Peoria; grandchildren, Armando, Alexis and Javier. Rosary service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez with visitation two hours prior. A Celebration of Life Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fluery with final farewell at Mountain View Cemetery.
