ALFORD, Paula


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 10, 2007 Paula Alford passed away on February 8, 2007. She was born on February 28, 1912, in Hungary. Paula was a long-time resident of Arizona, most recently of Prescott. She lived in New York as a young woman. She and her late husband, Eugene Alford, lived in Chile, South America for nine years and Aromas, California, before moving to Phoenix. She operated her own real estate brokerage for many years. She was a past president of Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club and Preceptor Gamma of Beta Sigma Phi. Paula was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Hodil, who passed away in 1998. Paula is survived by a daughter, Barbara Bolles and her husband Douglas, of Prescott; two grandsons, Harry Hodil (Debbie) and Kenny Hodil (Chris); three great-grandchildren, Heather Hodil, Kenneth Hodil and Kylee Hodil. It was Paula's wish that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to Shriner’s Crippled Children's Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be private. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family.
