COLWELL, Carson

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, February 2, 2007 Carson Colwell died Jan. 29, 2007, at the age of 74 years. Carson was married for 55 years to his wife Treva Colwell. They were married March 22, 1950 in St. Helens, Kentucky. Carson is survived by two sons, Bob Colwell and wife Paula, Jim Colwell and wife Verna; two daughters, Mae Garber and Ella Colwell; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Hout, Kenton, Kirby and Roscoe; three sisters, Sue, Evelyn and Inta. Carson was born in Kentucky April 9, 1932. In 1958 they moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and for the last 35 years have resided in Dewey, Ariz. Funeral services will be Feb. 3, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley, Phoenix, Ariz. Memorial services will be at Mountain View Manor, 1045 Sandretto Drive, Prescott, Ariz., Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at 4 p.m. for residents, friends and family. The family would like to thank the Sunrise Funeral Home, Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary and the Mountain View Nursing Home for all their help and support. Information provided by survivors.
