The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 21, 2006 Lorayne C. Rowe, age 68, of Goshen, Ind., formerly of Prescott, Ariz., died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at The Maples in Goshen, Ind. Lorayne was born Dec. 18, 1937, in Marrowbone, Ky., to Avery O. Cox and Georgia (Goodpaster) Cox. Lorayne was a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church. She was a bus driver for Lakeland School Corp. and farmed the family farm with her husband, Hubert Rowe. She lived most of her life in LaGrange County. Lorayne was preceded in death by her first husband, Hubert P. Rowe; and her parents. Survivors include husband Morris W. Davis of Goshen, Ind., who she married Feb 2, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz.; daughter Rita (Craig) Hursey of Goshen, Ind.; stepdaughter Marcie Cortez of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; sister Eulene Clark of Columbia, Calif.; and one step-grandson. Memorial Service is 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, Ind., with Rev. Caridean Merrifield officiating. Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange, Ind. The family suggests memorials to LaGrange County Cancer Society.
