Hyidana P. Golston, age 78 of Globe, Ariz., passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011. She was born in Globe, Ariz. on Sept. 24, 1933, the daughter of Violet (Yovotich) and Nikola Pavlich.
Hyidana was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church and a woman of faith. She was runner up for Miss Gila County in high school. She worked at Safeway for many years until retirement.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Hyidana was a strong, independent woman who always told it like it was.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Norris; one brother, Robert Pavlich, and her parents.
Hyidana leaves behind in loving memory two daughters, Sammie Fox of Heber, Ariz. and Jeannie Sgroi of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel, 237 S. Sutherland Street, Globe, Ariz.
