DAVIS, John C. (The Mule)

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ November 08, 2011 John C. "The Mule" Davis, 76, of Denver died Nov. 4, 2011, at his winter home in Goodyear. Mr. Davis was born March 16, 1935, in Denver to C. Earl and Myrtle. He attended South High School and the University of Colorado, where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He established, ran and owned the Davis Agency for 40 years in Denver, and was also a member of the Cherry Hills Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; his first wife, Joanne; two daughters, Hilary and Adrienne; one son, Charlie; and nine grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at Cherry Hills Country Club, 4125 S. University Blvd. in Cherry Hills Village, Colo.
