Mr. Martinez was born April 11, 1983, in New York, N.Y., and moved to Arizona in January 2004. He is survived by his parents, Carlos Luis and Wanda Pizarro; one sister, Karla Yvett; two brothers, Jose Carlos and Christian; and three grandparents, Carmeni Cotto, Martha Barbosa and Jose Luis Pizarro.
