POND, Ronald Marcel Jack

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ November 08, 2011 Ronald Marcel Jack Pond, 64, of Goodyear died Nov. 4, 2011, in Goodyear. Mr. Pond was born Dec. 3, 1946, in Paris to Ret. Col. Nathaniel H. and Jacqueline Fumey. He served in the Army during Vietnam, and was a retired surgical technician. He moved to Arizona in 1997, and was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the VFW. He is survived by his wife, Laureen A.; two daughters, Natalie L. and Jacqueline A.; one sister, Patricia Carol Kostrzewa; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, 19900 W. Highway 85 in Buckeye. Memorials can be sent to Liberty United Methodist Church or the Humane Society.
