West Valley View, Avondale, AZ November 04, 2011 J.C. Braker Sr., 58, of Goodyear died June 20, 2011, in Phoenix. Mr. Braker was born Sept. 1, 1953, in Phoenix to James and Inez. He worked at Goodyear Aerospace and for the Litchfield and Cartwright elementary school districts. He was baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church in Avondale. He was the lead singer for a band in the late 1970s and early '80s. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lamb; two sons, Terrance and J.C. Jr.; one daughter, LaKresha; three brothers, Jerome Malloy, Johnny Lee and J.B.; three sisters, Faye, Robbie Morton and Trina; and three grandchildren. Services were held in June at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Goodyear. The Rev. Cynthia Bell officiated.
