West Valley View, Avondale, AZ November 04, 2011 Samuel Edward Miller, 68, of Goodyear died Oct. 29, 2011, at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. Mr. Miller was born Nov. 14, 1942, in New Castle, Pa., to Charles Wayne and Hazel Lucille Litzenberg. He moved to Arizona in 2003. He was a member of the Army Reserves, and a retired merchant. He was a member of Palm Valley Church in Goodyear, the Volant, Pa., Lions Club and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by one son, Shawn Edward of Volant, Pa., three daughters, Shanay Lisa Shearer of Hamburg, N.Y., Stacey Dailey of Strasburg, Ohio, and Stephanie of Zanesville, Ohio; five brothers, Charles "Roy," William, Randall "Randy" Terry Wayne and James Eugene; two sisters, Kathryn Ann Adams and Nancy Lynn Gargasz; and seven grandchildren. Services will be Saturday in Volant, Pa. Memorials can be sent to Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 369, Peoria, AZ 85345.
