Darlene Elizabeth Meade, 72, went to meet her Lord and to be reunited
with her family in heaven on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, in Lake Havasu
City. She was born on Jan. 26, 1939, in Detroit. to Samuel and Elizabeth
(Bulchak) Rosnik.
Darlene married her husband, Joseph Lester Meade in Detroit on March 2,
1962. She moved to Lake Havasu City five years ago, coming from New
Baltimore, Mich. She enjoyed her retirement in Lake Havasu and enjoyed
her wonderful life as a wife, homemaker and mother. Darlene enjoyed her
many travels all over America and her passion for Owls will be
remembered by all. Her zest and love for life will be missed by her
family and friends.
Darlene is survived by her son David (Teresa) Meade of Gilbert, Ariz.;
daughter Debra Meade of New Baltimore, Mich.; grandchildren Beth Herzog
of Pontiac, Mich., Terri Marah of New Baltimore, Mich., and Joseph Meade
of Gilbert, Ariz.; three great grandchildren Olivia, Gabe and McKenzie
as well as her loving and adoring companion of five years, David Kaczor
of Lake Havasu City. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin
brother Ronald Meade and her husband, Joseph Lester Meade, Jr.
Services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Contributions can be
made in Darlene's memory to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave.,
