West Valley View, Avondale, AZ Friday, November 25, 2011 Otis L. Richey, 78, of Avondale died Nov. 21, 2011 in Avondale. Mr. Richey was born July 27, 1933, in Eaton, Ark. He moved to Arizona in 1952. He was an Army veteran, and was a pastor at Peoples General Baptist Church in Glendale. He is survived by his wife, Dixie; three daughters, Patricia Baas, Shauna Linford, and Jacquelyn Quient; one son, Mike; four sisters, Irene Hawley, Martha Kamarat, Meda Barrett and Brenda Jordan; four brothers; Carl, Roger, Clyde and Gary; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Ave. in Avondale. The service will begin at 10 a.m., and burial will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
