TURIFY, Michael J.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 3, 2006 Michael J. Turify, age 33, a resident of West Springfield, Pa., and formerly of Prescott, Ariz., died Sunday Nov. 26, 2006. He was born Dec. 17, 1972, in Erie, Pa., the son of John M. "Jack" Turify and the late Joyce J. DeCara Turify. Michael lived in Arizona for 18 years and was a graduate of Moon Valley High School. He worked as a seafood manager for a local grocery store in Prescott and moved back to Erie in 2004. Besides his father, Jack, Michael is survived by two sisters, Michele Sperrazzo and her husband Clarence of Erie and Carrie Turify of Bradenton, Fla. Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, in Erie with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th St., Erie, Pa., 16505. Arrangements by the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, 728 West 9th St., Eric, Pa. Information provided by survivors.
