The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 26, 2007 Richard Grotte, 69, of Prescott Valley went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2007. His passing was sudden and unexpected as he was in fair health. He died of an aneurism. He was a volunteer chaplain at YRMC- East campus, a deacon at Robert Road Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher. Richard is survived by his wife Ellen of Prescott Valley; daughters, Sandra Lester of Virginia and Lynn Shelton of North Carolina; brother, Dave Grotte; niece Shelli Petitt; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Robert Road Baptist Church. Burial will be in Virginia. Heritage Memory Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
