LaNita V. Villa, 86, of Buckeye died June 12, 2010, in Goodyear.
Mrs. Villa was born March 4, 1924, in Ajo. During World War II she was a Rosie the riveter, working at the Goodyear Airplane manufacturing plant. She also worked as a cashier, teacher's aid and ran a concession stand during Little League baseball games. She was an auxiliary member of American Legion. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Molitor of Glendale and Theresa of Buckeye; four sons, Frank Gerald of Phoenix, Raymond of Phoenix, Tim of Buckeye and Pat of Buckeye; two sisters, Mory of Buckeye and Jenny Martinez of Litchfield Park; two brothers, Tino Valdez of Tucson and Art Valdez of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N.
Services were June 18 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Buckeye. The Rev. William J. Kosco officiated.
