West Valley View, Avondale, AZ June 22, 2010 LaNita V. Villa, 86, of Buckeye died June 12, 2010, in Goodyear. Mrs. Villa was born March 4, 1924, in Ajo. During World War II she was a Rosie the riveter, working at the Goodyear Airplane manufacturing plant. She also worked as a cashier, teacher's aid and ran a concession stand during Little League baseball games. She was an auxiliary member of American Legion. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Norma Molitor of Glendale and Theresa of Buckeye; four sons, Frank Gerald of Phoenix, Raymond of Phoenix, Tim of Buckeye and Pat of Buckeye; two sisters, Mory of Buckeye and Jenny Martinez of Litchfield Park; two brothers, Tino Valdez of Tucson and Art Valdez of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Services were June 18 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Buckeye. The Rev. William J. Kosco officiated.
