Tim Mathalia, 52, of Hereford, Pa., and formerly Avondale died from cardiac arrest May 26, 2010, in Hereford.

Mr. Mathalia was born Jan. 19, 1958, in Phoenix. He was raised in Avondale and graduated from Agua Fria High School in 1977. He was a technician of recycling equipment for more than 20 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Christine; and one son, Victor.

Services were held June 5 in Hereford.
