West Valley View, Avondale, AZ June 29, 2010 Lorenzo G. Acosta, 62, of Avondale died June 24, 2010, in Goodyear. Mr. Acosta was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Mexico. He moved to Arizona in 1979 and worked at Lakin Milling Co. for 20 years. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Avondale. He is survived by his wife, Evanjelina B.; three sons, Lorenzo, Dino and Noel; one daughter, Thelma Chaves; one brother, Jenaro Acosta Gutierez; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
