West Valley View, Avondale, AZ June 29, 2010 George "Bud" Warga, 71, of Avondale died June 25, 2010, in Goodyear. Mr. Warga was born March 28, 1939, in Metuchen, N.J., to George and Mary. He served in the Navy. He was the vice president of operations for Dairy Stores Inc. He moved to Avondale in 1992 from Pattenburg, N.J. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen; two daughters, Debra Smith and Ellen Schlagenhaft; one son, Paul; two sisters, MaryAnn Hrapsky and Fran Raio-Briggs; one brother, Albert Raio; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A Mass will celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road in Avondale. Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
