Robert worked at the Naval Supply Depot in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, during World War II as a Civil Service employee. He was a mechanic and retired from maintaining a Coca-Cola fleet in Erie, Pa., in 1980.
In his retirement, he became a talented woodworker. He made children's toys, model cars and rocking horses. He was an honest and hard-working person. There wasn't a task he wouldn't tackle. He single handedly put a cedar-shake roof on our house in Phoenix.
He will be remembered and missed by all.
