Harry Fulton
Harry Fulton Bell, Jr., 64 of Scottsdale and beloved husband of Nancy, passed away peacefully January 29, 2004.
Born May 13, 1939 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he moved to Phoenix in 1946.
Harry graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1957. He served with the SeaBees in the U.S. Navy as a heavy equipment mechanic. Following the service he worked for Road Machinery then for Bell Concrete until his retirement in 1991.
Prior to his illness, he enjoyed hunting, drag racing, off-road racing, and was a member of the Sahuaro 4 x4's for 30 years. During his retirement he enjoyed working on models, and had completed over 100 models of wartime vehicles, airplanes and vintage racing cars.
Harry is survived by his wife of 36 years Nancy (nee. Wilhardt); son Bryan, daughter Charis (David) Stach; his twin brother James (Marge) Bell, step sister Donna (Pete) Voorneveld, brother-in-law Jerry (Tracy) Wilhardt; granddaughters Jessica (Sean) Southland and Bettina Bell, grandson Kyle Stach, and great grandchildren Austin See and Jaymee Southland. He is also survived by his beloved Aunt Evelyn "Babe" Nappa, Uncle Carl (Joyce) Bell, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Harry left a warm and loving imprint on everyone who knew him.
Memorial visitation with a Rosary service at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Funeral Mass was at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3801 N. Miller Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Memorial contributions may be given to the Phoenix Union High School Alumni Association, P.O. Box 16346, Phoenix, AZ 85011.
