JENKINSON, William H.


William H. Jenkinson passed away Wed., January 28, 2004. He was born in England on January 28, 1920 to Mary Ann Williams and her husband William Arthur Jenkinson. The family moved to the United States in 1921. In 1942 William entered the U.S. Military Service on January 13 and served for 3 years during which time he was with the troops at Gold Beach. He was honorably discharged November 24, 1945 at the end of WW II. After completing college in New York City, he joined the Burrough's Corporation, one of the pioneers in the development of computers. He spent all his working years in the electronics field. During retirement, William enjoyed meeting with his regular workout partners at a local college. He leaves his loving wife, Marie, and loving daughter, Christine. Private family services.
