The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 30, 1974 Rita Beckman Rosary Tomorrow Rita T. Beckman, 63, died at the Whipple VA Hospital Monday. She had served in the Army Air Force during World War II, and had been a member of the Women’s Army Corps. She moved to Prescott with her husband from Chandler in April 1973 and lived at Willow Lake Estates. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Chandler and was interested in homemaking and was a seamstress. Survivors include her widower, Harvey W.; three sons, Harvey F., Darrell M., both of Phoenix, and Kenneth J. of the U.S Army in Korea; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Greene, of Rhode Island, Mrs. Alex Sgnowicz, of North Carolina, and Mrs. Vincent A. Gronin, of Pennsylvania, and two grandchildren. Rosary will be said at Ruffner Funeral Home on Thursday at 9 a.m. The body will be taken to Chandler for Mass of the Resurrection at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Apache Junction. Ruffner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
