The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, November 7, 1974 Mary Ellen Jones Services Friday Mary Ellen Jones, 65, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Wednesday. She was born on Dec. 1, 1908 in Emporia, Kan. and came to Arizona from Denver in 1929 and had resided in Hillside since 1949. She was a member of the Hillside Community Church and operated the Hillside Stor and Café from 1950 to 1965. Survivors include her widower, Albert, of Hillside; one sister, Mrs. Stella Ruth Colvin, of Modesto, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Ruffner Funeral Home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Friends may call at Ruffner’s from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Interment will be held at Skull Valley Cemetery. Family suggest memorials to the Intermountain Unit, Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, Fairfax Avenue at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84013 or the charity of your choice.
