Ryan Anderson, 26 of Glendale passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011. He was born in Phoenix on Saturday, July 13, 1985 to Christine Anderson and the late Randy Anderson. Ryan graduated from Greenway High School in 2003.
He was All-Region football and a major factor in three straight Region titles, plus back to back State Championship games. He was also a member of the track team and went to state. He earned a football and academic scholarship to Northern Arizona University and then transferred to Arizona State University where he graduated with an associate's degree in business. Ryan had a deep passion for music. He loved to play guitar and bass and always liked to try new things like the drums.
He always enjoyed outdoor activities such as biking, skating, skydiving and all kinds of sports. Ryan was a great writer and artist, and creative in so many ways. He had a huge heart which was worn on his sleeve. Ryan was a gentle giant; he always put his family & friends first. He was a jokester, story teller and someone to have a great conversation with.
Ryan is survived by his mother Christine, sister Megan Grace Anderson, paternal grandparents John & Della Anderson, maternal grandmother Adelaide Darling, eleven aunts & uncles and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Randy.
A celebration of Ryan's life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 1:00PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road, Peoria.
Time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired. If tears could build a stairway & memories a lane we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
