BANKS, Anthony Earl (Bird)

Anthony Earl Banks (Bird), 45, born Feb. 9, 1958. Our dear brother, uncle & friend a resident of Phx, AZ. passed away in Anchorage on Jan. 22, 2004 due to complications from his diabetes. He is survived by his only son Anthony Jermone Jr. His mother (Ruth Banks) precedes him. He leaves to cherish his father, L.V. Banks, his sisters, Erma Johnson of Denver, Doris Cox of Miss., Barbara Ivery, Jackie Landrum, Albertha Banks & Sandra Clark all of Phx. and very special nieces, Nataline, Carolyn & Tanya, nephew Louis Scott, He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends and a special friend Jackie Cody of Anchorage. He will be truly missed. He will be remembered by his "smile" and his compassion for children. Services were held in Anchorage, Alaska. A memorial for Anthony was held at Resthaven Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern, Phx, AZ. on Mon. Feb 9, 2004 "Come and Celebrate his Home Going & Birthday" Published in the Arizona Republic on 2/3/2004.
