TOMERLIN, Donald L.

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, November 30, 2011 Donald L. Tomerlin, age 65 of Superior, Ariz. passed away on Nov. 21, 2011 at his residence in Superior. He was born in Superior, Ariz. on Nov. 20, 1946, the son of Cecil and Mercia (Penguilly) Tomerlin. Donald was raised and schooled in Superior. He graduated from Superior High School in 1964 and graduated from NAU in 1971. He worked as a Driller for ASARCO. He loved to play golf, go hunting and fishing, classic country music and skeet shooting. He enjoyed watching TV and playing the Harmonica. He is preceded in death by his parents. Donald is survived by his wife, Sherry (Adams) Tomerlin; his daughters, Annette (Jacob) Cordero and Andi Tomerlin; his son, Christopher Tomerlin; his sisters, Annette (Virgil) Weigand, Dianne (Louie) Manheimer and Margaret (John) Clayborn; and one grandchild. Memorial services will be Wednesday, Nov. 30. 2011 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 921 Belmont, in Superior, Ariz. Interment of ashes will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Superior.
