The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 7, 1974 Bezner Rites Wednesday William J. Bezner, 38, died at the Whipple VA Hospital Sunday after a lingering illness. He was born on July 28, 1936, in Tarkio, Mo, and moved to Arizona 36 years ago from there. He had attended Washington Elementary School and graduated from Phoenix Christian High School. He attended Grand Canyon College in Phoenix for one and a half years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of First Christian Church in Prescott and owned and operated Bezner Wood Floor Finishing and was a paint contractor. Survivors include two sons, Kevin and Tracy of Prescott; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Bezner of Prescott; one brother, David, of Phoenix. Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale. Family requests donations to First Southern Baptist Church Organ Fund.
