The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 8, 1974 Grant Van Tilborg Services on Thursday Grant Van Tilborg, 55, died Monday at the Whipple VA Hospital. He was born on Nov. 5, 1918 in Nelson, Nev. and was brought to Crown King by his parents when he was less than one year old. He had been in mining and ranching and had operated the bar in Crown King for over 20 years. He had served with the First Cavalry during World War II. Survivors include two sons, Grant Allen, and Richard Thomas; one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Nelson, all of Crown King. one brother, Don, of Bagdad; one grandchild; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Tilborg of Crown King. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ruffner Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at Mountain View Crematory. ---------------- Note: Burial was at the Crown King Cemetery, Crown King, Ariz.
