Former Prescott Man Dies in California
PASADENA, Calif. - Aug 26 - (AP)
Henry V. Cram, 84, Los Angeles and Prescott, Ariz. business man, died here last night at his home following a brief illness.
Cram was a business partner of Theodore Otis in a mercantile establishment at Prescott, although he maintained his permanent residence here. He was born at Owosso, Mich., and started his career as a school teacher, coming to Los Angeles in 1872 he founded the Los Angeles Dairy company, later entering a partnership with Otis.
Cram is survived by his widow, Mrs. Esther Cram; three sons, Frederick L., Norman E. and James C. Cram, of Los Angeles, and two daughters, Mrs. P. J. Osdick, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Ernest King of Yucaipa, Calif.
He will be buried at Redlands, Calif., after funeral services there Friday.

Mr. Cram was a resident of this city in the early days and is said to have been a silent partner in the mercantile business of T. W. Otis who had a general merchandise store opposite the Plaza on the northeast corner of Cortez and Union streets. He left Prescott more than a quarter of a century ago, it is said.

Note: Henry was the son of Chester and Margaret (Eldred) Cram and the husband of Esther Adelaide (Colley) Cram. He is buried at the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery, Redlands, Calif.
