Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona May 1913 AGED WOMAN IS CALLED TO HER REWARD Mrs. Ellen Stephens, mother of Mrs. J. H. Maders, passed away at Dewey on Thursday afternoon, after a brief illness due to general debility, incidental to old age. She had been a resident of this county for many years and was held in the highest esteem. Her death has occasioned many expressions of regret among the many with whom she enjoyed an acquaintance. The remains were brought to Prescott yesterday and interment will take place later from Ruffner's chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Maders accompanied the body, and are at the Prescott Hotel. The deceased was born in Scotland and was aged 88 years. ---------------- Note: Mrs. Stephens died May 1, 1913. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz. No headstone has been found marking her exact place of burial
