Darrell Duane Hancock, 68, died Nov. 27, 2011, in Winslow.
A memorial service will be held Dec. 17, at 1 p.m., at Quail Springs United Methodist Church, 14617 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, Okla.

Memorial Service for Darrell Duane Hancock, 68, will be held at Quail Springs United Methodist Church, 14617 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, OK at 1:00 PM on Dec. 17, 2011.
Darrell was born September 1, 1943 in Big Wells, TX, he passed away in Winslow, AZ on November 27, 2011.
Darrell was a HUD Arbitrator and an arbitrator for the Architectural Association. As a project manager of City Place it was completed in record time, where he then retired from Business Architecture in 1989.
After moving to Arizona, he became Deputy Chief of the Kayenta, AZ Volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept. As an avid artist and painter of may works, he also collected Native American Art. During his retirement he spent his time remodeling his home in Winslow, AZ. His crowing achievement was authoring a collecting of spiritual works.
He is survived by his wife Connie Hancock; son David Hancock; daughters, Dawn Waldrop and Lillian Hancock; sister Darlene Brookins, brother Richard Hancock and 5 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dee Albert Hancock and Ruth Elizabeth Milam Hancock.
