Weekly Journal - Miner, Prescott, Arizona February 19, 1922 Funeral Services For Hannah Hartin Today Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock for the late Mrs. Hannah Hartin, mother of Henry Hartin of this city. Dr. E. Lee Howard will read the burial service, at Ruffner's mortuary chapel. Interment will take place at the Mountain View cemetery. Friends of the deceased are invited. The pallbearers will be Barney Smith, Frank Williams, J. I. Gardner, Fred G. Brecht, Arthur Robinson and Colonel E. A. Rogers. ---------------------------------- Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 22, 1922, page 2, column 7 Pioneer Resident Passes; Death Of Mrs. John Hartin (From Saturday's Daily - February 17, 1922) Mrs. John Hartin, a Pioneer resident of Yavapai county, and mother of Henry Hartin, of this city, died Friday morning at her home in San Diego at the age of 64 years. Born in Wales and being brought to the United States by way of Australia by her parents shortly after. Mrs. Hartin came to this county in 1871. Two years later she became the wife of John Hartin, a blacksmith of this city. Mrs. Hartin was the mother of a family of ten children, seven of whom are living. Her son here and six sons and daughters in California; Mrs. Hackett, Mrs. Adams, Ed Hartin, Ralph Hartin, Homer Hartin and Joe Hartin. Mrs. Hartin is also survived by her husband and three brothers, John Roberts of Parker, J. I. Roberts, former proprietor of the O.K. Meat Market here and Ed Roberts of the Santa Fe Railroad.
