Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Sunday, November 27, 2011 - Richard “Rick” Harry Jablonski Jr., 49, passed away Nov. 16, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, with his friends and family by his side. He was born Sept. 8, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., to Richard H. and Clara A. (Grande) Jablonski Sr. Rick first moved to Lake Havasu City over 20 years ago where he opened up a small business called Dollar Stretcher. He decided to close the store so he could get more involved in the swap meet circuit. If you went to the London Bridge Swap Meet on Sundays for the past 20 years, it was a well-known fact that Rick would be there. He made many close friends with the vendors and customers and he considered everyone at the swap meet just like family. Rick was always concerned with the care of others and he touched many lives. He will be greatly missed. Rick is survived by his parents, Clara A. Jablonski, of Lake Havasu City, and Richard H. Jablonski Sr. of Palmdale, Calif.; sisters, Mary (Dave) Dunn, of Palmdale, Calif., Shirley (Tony) Cherco, of Henderson, Nev., and JoAnn Molzahn, of Palmdale, Calif.; nephews, David, Daniel and Jake; nieces, Casey, Kristen, Theresa, Gina and Sarah; aunts and uncles, Virginia and Carmen Geanto, Glora Ludvigsen, Angelo and Natalie Grande Jr., Virginia Jablonski and Diane Geanto; several cousins; as well as close personal friends, Ann and Katelyn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Angelo and Mary Grande Sr., Aunt Carmella and Uncle Don Grimaldi, and uncles, Robert Jablonski and Paul Ludvigsen. Funeral Service will be Saturday, at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m., with a Reception immediately following.
