ALMHJELL, Dorothy E.

Dorothy E. Almhjell of Scottsdale, AZ. passed away Feb. 1 at the age of 86. She was born Sept. 21st, 1917 in Sioux Falls South Dakota and moved to Scottsdale in 1951. Her husband Ole J. Almhjell preceded her in death. Dorothy is survived by Sons Paul Almhjell (Barbara), John Almhjell. Daughters Carol Loschiavo (Joe), Marcene Van Loon (Ted), and Joanne Almhjell. She had 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She worked for 23 years at the Sugar Bowl in Scottsdale and was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church. Visitation was at Messinger Indian School Mortuary at 7601 E. Indian School Road Scottsdale. Funeral services were held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 7100 Mockingbird Lane, Paradise Valley. Published in the Arizona Republic on 2/4/2004.
