Paul Cornett, 75, of Mesa, passed away peacefully Jan 23, 2004.
He was born in Central Lake, Michigan, and was a sniper with the 21st Infantry Regiment, the first US Military unit to enter the Korean War.
He taught at Camelback High for 28 years and was a varsity baseball coach for several years. He taught and coached in Flint Mi. for a number of years before moving to Az. in 1960.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Mesa, son Kevin of Durango, Colorado, daughter Cynthia of San Francisco Ca., 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
No services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
