JOHNSON, Marven E. (Johnny)


Marven E. "Johnny" Johnson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on his 76th birthday. He was born February 1, 1928 in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He served in the Army for 4 years and was stationed at the Pentagon. He retired as a salesman for Keene Cutting Services and was a member of the American Legion and Copper State Sams RV Club for many years. Johnny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gina; daughter, Donna (Fritz) Batson, of Eugene, OR; sons, Scott (Diane) and Doug (Wendy) of Phoenix, AZ; seven wonderful grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Douglas, Daniel, Ross, Kelly and Lance; sisters, Doris Pellizzi and Valda McMahon; and brother, Verle. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald. Visitation with a Scripture Service was at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass was at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ.
