Anita Best Kerr, Phoenix, AZ. Loving wife and daughter and precious child of God died Jan. 31, 2004. She was born Nov. 2, 1969 in Columbia, SC. She graduated from U.S.C.-Coastal in 1992. She worked for Conti Mortgage, Tempe, 1998-1999; Conseco Financial, Tempe, 1999-2000; Ugly Duckling, Phoenix, 2000-2001. She is survived by her husband, Ian Kerr of Phoenix AZ; her mother, Dorcas Collins of Myrtle Beach SC; her father, Richard Best of Lexington, SC; her grandmother, Aileen Stokes of Darlington, SC; 2 brothers, Richard Best Jr., and Matthew Best of Lexington, SC, plus several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services were held at Shepherd of the Valley UMC, 3039 W. Cactus Rd., Phoenix, and at Bethea Baptist Retirement Community, Darlington, SC.
