MCGREW, Donovan Ward


Donovan Ward McGrew born on et Dia de la Raza, 10/12/28 went to be home with the Creator and his beloved Virgen de Guadalupe on Saturday, 1/24/04. Don was born in Jenks, Oklahoma but found his life's passion in La Cultura Mexicana. He moved to Mexico in 1950 after completing his service in the US Navy as a Korean War Veteran. Donovan attended Mexico City College where he met his beloved wife of 50 years, Dora Elena Ray Said and where he earned his Masters Degree in International Management. He moved his familia to Phoenix in 1959 where he worked in the profession of Information Technology until his retirement. Dad we will always remember you for your deep love of familia, cultura y caridad. The McGrew family wishes to thank Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate and culturally sensitive care. Services were Friday February 6, 2004 at the Saint Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 2/4/2004.
