Owens Livingston Mortuary Show Low, Arizona Francis Antonio November 15, 1927 - November 30, 2011 Francis Antonio died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Whiteriver Indian Hospital in Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona from causes incident to his age. Francis was 84 years old. Francis was born at the Antonio Family residence on November 15, 1927 in Cedar Creek, Gila County, Arizona to the late Maxwell and Bessie (Altaha) Antonio. Throughout his life Francis worked as a laborer as a Water Line Installer. Francis is survived by a daughter, Beverly Jackson of Keams Canyon, Arizona. Additional obituary will be added to this website as soon as it is gathered and confirm. ~~~~~~~~~ The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/09/2011 Beloved father, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Francis Antonio, 84, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Whiteriver Indian Hospital in Whiteriver. He was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Cedar Creek, to the late Max and Bessie Antonio, the oldest of five children. Francis worked at and retired from the BIA, Bureau of Land Operations. He then worked with the Cedar Creek Cattle Association in assisting in managing the cattle herd and constructing many miles of fence on behalf of the association. Working was his first love. Francis is survived by his son, Richard Antonio; daughters: Lela (Robert) Lacapa, Barbara (Lloyd) Goklish, Veronica Antonio, Beverly (Emery) Jackson, Mercy Antonio, Regina (Leon) Cosay, Karen (Bradley, Sr.) Clarkson, Leenette (Elton, Sr.) Thompson, Emerly Antonio; sisters: Mable Boni, Ingrid Palmer, Evelyn Antonio; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Antonio; daughters: Velva Paxson and Phoebe Antonio; sons: Rocky Antonio, Davis Antonio; granddaughter Verlynn “Lou” Fall; great-granddaughter Larnell Quintero; and brother Tommy Antonio. The public wake will begin 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Antonio Family Residence, 109 Middle Street in Canyon Day. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day. Interment will follow in the Canyon Day Cemetery.
