LEVI JONES TAKEN BY DEATH Succumbs At Home Here After Long Period of Illness Mrs. Levi Jones, 56 years old, a resident of this city for the last 42 years, died at her home, 409 South Montezuma street, at 9 p.m. Monday evening. She was a native of Lake City, Calif., and came here with her parents when a young girl. She has a host of friends in Prescott, near by communities, and in various sections of the southern part of the state. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, a brother, James Turner, a son, Lloyd Jones, a daughter, Mrs. George Gibson and five grand children, Ada, William, James, Violet and Ruby Gibson and Elmer Perry. All reside here. Three half-sisters survive, Mrs. Mary Hickson, Mrs. Lucy Sherman and Mrs. Laura Fowler also of Prescott, as well as three half-brothers, Emery Bosley and Albert Bosley of Carlsbad, N. M. Deceased was the mother of the late William Jones, who died while in the service of his country in1918 Mrs. Jones had been ill for the last several years, but had been confined to her home for only one week prior to her death. Funeral services will be held in the Ruffner chapel next Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Mt. View cemetery. A minister who will preside at the services will be announced by the members of the immediate family later.
