REAPER CLAIMS AN ESTIMABLE WOMAN
While apparently recovering from an operation performed a few weeks ago for removal of a tumor, Mrs. Clarence C. Jackson passed away yesterday morning at Mercy hospital, announcement of her death occasioning not only surprise but the deepest of sorrow. So hopeful were relatives and friends of her restoration to health, that it was contemplated to remove bed home, in a few days, when the inevitable followed.
This young woman was held in very high esteem by all in this county, and her loss is felt as keenly by acquaintances as those so near and dear. Kindly in disposition, she also was graced with a beautiful personality, which made her endeared to all.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Sanders, respected pioneer residents, was born in this city, and during the many years in which she had resided in this community she deserved the tribute which her memory will cherish as being pure, faithful and with a character without a blemish.
The deep bereavement borne by relatives is shared alike by countless friends in this community.
A husband and son are among the ones who are left to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother, and with her parents are sisters and other near relatives. The body is at Ruffner's and the funeral will be announced later.
